Unlike Main Busbars, Distribution Busbars are usually within each facility’s sub-system. Typically, Distribution Busbars have ratings of 600 volts or less and can carry up to 8000 amperes, depending on the application. Riser and Feeder Busbars are specialized Busbars used to distribute power from Main Busbars to Distribution Busbars.
