That fact that the battery may also store that much energy does not mean that there is a capacitor equivalent to a battery. While an ideal battery maintains the voltage across its terminals until the stored energy is exhausted, the voltage across an ideal capacitor will gradually approach zero as the stored energy is depleted.
The SI unit of capacitance, the Farad, is a coulomb per volt: F = C V F = C V (note here the C is coulomb, where above it was capacitance) This says nothing about how much energy the capacitor can hold. In fact, an ideal capacitor of any capacitance can hold infinite energy.
Increasing or decreasing the number of cells in parallel changes the total energy by 96 x 3.6V x 50Ah = 17,280Wh. As the pack size increases the rate at which it will be charged and discharged will increase. In order to manage and limit the maximum current the battery pack voltage will increase.
Use of X and Y cap in the battery packs have proved to eliminate noise on the coupled data communication and power lines. This is a general recommendation for battery pack systems operating in noisy environments and not specifically intended for Texas Instruments Battery monitoring and protection IC's ( BQ76PL455A-Q1 or BQ76PL536A-Q1).
If the load is eg an electronic "boost converter" which can accept the range of voltages 'offered' and convert the output to a useful voltage then the amount of energy able to be extracted in real-world situations may be over 80% + of the total stored capacitor energy.
Using binary weighted resistor values a load able to accept a wide range of voltages, at APPROXIMATELY constant power, can be constructed. As can be seen, a battery holds an immense amount of energy for its size and cost, compared even to the most energy dense "super" capacitors. Notes:
DC-Link design tips: how to choose capacitors for EVs
Electric vehicles operate in a different way than toy cars, as they do not use energy stored in the battery pack directly. Instead, energy has to be converted. A typical 3-stage power inverter for a hybrid/electric vehicle (HEV/EV) consists of: The input stage from the battery pack that outputs a DC voltage (Stage I). A DC-Link capacitor filters and smooths out DC …

Battery Packs Store Energy for Long Durations while Capacitors Release Energy Quickly: Battery packs are designed to store energy over longer periods. Capacitor vs. Battery: What''s the Difference?
Capacitors are good for applications that need a lot of energy in short bursts. Energy Storage of Capacitor and Battery. The energy storage capacity of a battery or capacitor is measured in watt-hours. This is the number of watt hours a battery or capacitor can store. Usually, batteries have a higher watt-hour rating than capacitors.

Designing EMI/EMC Safe Battery Pack
Using a capacitor from either power line to chassis ground significantly reduces the common-mode noise. However, when such a capacitor fails it can result in electrical shocks or fire which poses a special requirement on the capacitors used.
