Attach the cable to the negative(-) terminal of the battery. After connecting the electrical cables to the battery any excess in the cables should be pulled back into the mainframe and the two screw connector re-tightened. Secure the cables to the frame of the truck with nylon ties.
Continue with the lift installation in the normal manner according to the supplied instructions or your distributor manual. IMPORTANT: The pump and motor unit for this lift can require up to 155 Amps of electrical power at 12 volts D.C. Be sure you connect the black cable to the negative(-) terminal of the vehicle battery.
