Battery cabinet, also known as power battery cabinet or energy storage cabinet, is an important equipment for storing and managing energy in various fields. It is widely used in telecommunications, electric power, transportation, and other industries.
The design capacity of a battery has a 10% buffer, which is added to account for external changes during use. (For example, system heat can cause a cell to overvolt ever so slightly.) This prevents the battery from spiking and causing damage to the life of the battery cells. This is a standard industry design and practice and the battery is working as designed.
Battery capacity is defined as the total amount of electricity generated by electrochemical reactions in the battery. It’s directly proportional to (and limited by) the usable amount of material inside the cell that actively participates in the redox reactions, providing charge (electrons).

During the charging period, the system prioritizes charging the battery first from PV, then from the power grid until the cut-off SOC is reached.
