I use an UPS to convert and store 220V electricity into batteries of 12V. then, when i need it, i use another circuit to power my computer no I take the 12v, pass it trough an inverter to recreate 220V and that only to send it all to my LCDs and PSU which have the job of taking the 220v and regulating it to 12v (and a few smaller) again.
This inverter converts 12V DC power to 110V AC and delivers it via the 2 AC outlets and 2 USB ports. The outlets have a 750W surge capacity, while the USB ports have 50W.
The maximum current in a 12 Vgauge #6 (13.3 mm2) cable with length 15 m is approximately 15 amps according the diagram above. Since the current capacity of the battery is rated for 30A, the maximum current we can get at the output is 1.63A (30A/18.33). So from a 12V 30A battery with a 12V to 220V power inverter, we get as maximum power 220V and 1.63A of power. It will not exceed this current draw because a power inverter can only output the amount of power input.
So for a 12V 100A battery and a 12V to 120V inverter, we get 120V and 10A as the maximum power that can be drawn. For a 12V 100A battery and a 12 to 220V inverter, we get 120V and 5.45A as the maximum power that can be drawn.
