South Korea and China are particularly competitive in the arena of battery patents, with South Korean companies like LG Energy Solution and Samsung SDI leading in terms of both quantity and quality of patents, especially in areas such as electrode materials, cell processes, and packaging.
As such, the market and technology for battery recycling in Korea, China, and the United States are fully expanding. However, it is not easy to find a paper that analyzes in-depth battery recycling patents in Korea, China, and the United States.
