The PS filtering capacitors are 4x 6,800uF @100V and 85degC. They are type LP by JunFu and measure 30x65 mm. One of the capacitors has a slight bump at the top (slightly swollen), but all measure ‘within’ specs: 5,860uF (or -14% but the specs are +/-20%) and a Dissipation Factor or 0.23 (0.20 in the spec).
The M33 SMPS looks similar but can't see whether the caps are the same. There's a lot of capacitors either coming out of a few factories and being labelled with multiple brands, or there's more capacitor factories coming on line all the time. A huge number of electros are clearly coming from Chinese factories, particularly the flood of fakes.
F&T and Nichicon are good affordable caps. S Prague Atom are good too but they are expensive and big. First of all I'd avoid Illinois filter caps. Second don't buy new old stock ones. The newer the filter caps the better. They're not like tubes/valves. Filter caps age just sitting on a shelf. From my very limited research F&T seem to be the best.
OMGCat! There are quite a few good caps still available. You want something with high hour and high ripple current rating. The heat rating doesn't matter so much for filter caps as they are typically in cooler areas of the amplifier.
The old maroon Roederstein ("ERO") electrolytic capacitors as used in Bang & Olufsen and other European makes from the 1970s can also be a pain.
w.r.t. Capacitors near heat sinks, that is usually a matter of packaging when using an off the shelf supply. You do want to keep traces short for performance and EMI, but you would prefer the capacitors not jammed against the heat sink. Of course, it also comes down to how the product is specified.
Do Film Capacitors Really Make a Difference? : r/diyaudio
IF you have good overall audio gear, then capacitors and coils can make a difference both measurable and audible. ... First of all in the crossovers/filters, film capacitors are usually the way to go. Not that much because they would sound better but you don''t want the cutoff frequency to change. After a few years, an electrolytic capacitor could easily shift the crossover frequency …

Filter capacitor considerations
New configurations of stacked capacitors, such as capacitors with electrodes perpendicular to the PCB traces drive, can reduce the already low ESR and ESL figures of stacked capacitors. Plastic film, another non-polar material, can also be used as a dielectric in output filter capacitors. The term "film capacitor" defines these components ...

Question about Choosing Filter Caps and Sound
Main filter caps only affect the sound when they are dead. Low impedance caps are best in that position, but since everything that size is designed for power filtering anyway, just about any cap of the correct rating will work fine.
