Nintendo: "Vi har flera nya titlar på gång under andra halvan av dett…

Det var väl egentligen ingen som trodde något annat och vi vet ju att {Splatoon Raiders} kommer i juli och att {Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave} också är planerat till andra halvåret 2026. Det är dock inte tillräckligt och många har därför klagat på att Nintendo just nu får ur sig alldeles för få spel till Switch 2.

Det är heller inte bara vi gamers som tycker så, utan även Nintendos ägare, och därför dök ämnet upp under en frågestund efter kvartalsrapporten i fredags, och nu har transkriptionen släppts. I den får vi veta att Nintendo-hövdingen Shuntaro Furukawa medger att det helt enkelt tar längre tid att utveckla spel till Switch 2 (mer prestanda ger fler möjligheter och bättre grafik krävs):

"Ideally, we would like to deliver new titles more frequently and in a more timely manner, but as you pointed out, software development periods have become longer than before. Even so, we will continue to work on various initiatives to ensure that many titles can be played on Nintendo Switch 2, by devising improvements to our development system and development process."

Lyckligtvis betyder detta inte att vi kommer behöva vänta en evighet på alldeles för få spel, för Nintendo slår även fast att de har mer på gång och detta redan under 2026:

"Regarding the future, we are preparing a variety of new titles for Nintendo Switch 2, regardless of whether they are so-called major titles or not. In addition, we have new titles prepared for the second half of this fiscal year, in addition to those already announced, and we will provide details at the appropriate time."

Det är värt att notera att Furukawa att det handlar om både större och mindre spel, vilket får oss att tro att satsningen på lite billigare spel - som {Star Fox}-remaken och Splatoon Raiders - är något Nintendo kommer satsa på framledes. Genom att släppa billigare och lite mindre spel, kan de hålla ett högre tempo, och kanske behöver inte allt vara AAA-kaliber, eller vad tycker du?


Det vankas mer underhållning till Switch 2 senare i år - något vi väl alla räknade med...?

Step in with condoms and talk of birds and bees and your relationship with the now-chastened military will deteriorate. Not every decision in Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes, the roguelike FTL take on the sci-fi TV series, is to do with the nighttime antics of your crew, but they do all carry consequences.

Evakueringen af alle passagerer fra MV Hondius fandt sted mellem søndag og mandag, efter krydstogtskibet lagde til kaj på Tenerife. De fleste af de 152 personer på krydstogtet, hvor hantavirus-udbruddet startede, er blevet transporteret til deres lande på flere flyvninger til Frankrig, Canada, Storbritannien eller Holland, og båden vil snart afgå med 26 besætningsmedlemmer til deres endelige destination i Rotterdam.

Blandt de evakuerede blev én testet positiv med hantavirus: en fransk kvinde, hvis helbred var forværret og nu er indlagt på et hospital i Paris. To mistænkte tilfælde identificeret af den spanske regering har testet negativt.

En erklæring fra Verdenssundhedsorganisationen (WHO) mandag oplyste, at der i alt har været syv bekræftede tilfælde af hantavirus forbundet med krydstogtudbruddet. Det inkluderer ikke den første af tre ofre, som døde før han kunne blive testet, eller den amerikanske statsborger, hvis positive test først blev rapporteret som "mild positiv" mandag, men ikke er klar, og som i øjeblikket opholder sig på en medicinsk facilitet i Nebraska.

De advarede om, at flere infektioner stadig kunne opstå, fordi virusset kan have en inkubationstid på op til seks uger, men mindede om, at risikoen for et masseudbrud er lav. De fleste af dem er nu i isolationsfaciliteter i deres respektive lande eller ankommer i de kommende timer, hvor de vil blive mindst 15 dage.
