In , the Battery energy storage unit (BESU) is partitioned according to the State of charge (SOC), and the operating cost of the unit and the operating balance between the units are considered to achieve the objectives of improving the sustainable dispatchability and operating economy of the Battery energy storage system (BESS).
The energy storage types are categorized based on the support time, and the final decision is achieved with power allocation and adjustment control of the energy storage system. Additionally, a comprehensive control strategy for under-frequency load shedding and hierarchical systems is provided for scenarios with insufficient active support.
The energy storage unit regulates the system power balance in the integrated DC microgrid. When the output power of the PV generation unit is larger than the absorbed power of the load, the energy storage unit absorbs the energy in the system by charging; conversely, the energy storage unit provides energy to the system by discharging.
The energy storage system has the advantage of flexible output control [ 14, 15 ]. It is both a key part of the energy Internet and a key support for dealing with large-scale renewable energy grid integration problems and increasing the economy and reliability of the power grid [ 16, 17 ].
On this basis, an energy coordination control strategy based on the power difference is designed, which can coordinate the working state of PV power generation units according to the power condition of the system. The integrated DC microgrid has been simulated under different conditions in MATLAB/Simulink.
