Abstract- In contemporary days, the research and development enterprises have been focusing to design intelligently the battery swap station (BSS) architecture having the prospects of providing a consistent platform for successful installation of the large scale fleet of hybrid and electric vehicles (i.e. xEVs).

A day-to-day operation strategy for the battery swap stations (BSSs) 4.4.1. Overview of the operation strategy After determining the layout of BSSs, the operators need to develop a day-to-day operation strategy for each BSS, which involves the allocation of batteries and delivery vehicles, so as to meet the BSD of each SEV.
A decision model is developed for battery valuation in battery swapping station. The model achieves the tradeoff of battery use between energy and transportation. Battery for both energy arbitrage and swapping has a higher life-cycle revenue. Battery for both energy arbitrage and swapping has a higher unit degradation cost.
