Prospective consultants have until Feb. 23 to submit their proposals. The Eritrea National Energy Policy, which was issued in 2018, aims to increase the electrification rate across the country. The contract, valued at ERN 31,370,277.26 and EUR 29,287.267.66, has been awarded to China Energy Engineering Group Shanxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. The project is expected to commence on March 1, 2024, with a duration of 24 months, including a one-year defect liability period.
