It has been emphasized that devices with continuous load whose power factor is very close to one have more effect on THDV.
Based on the three-phase four-wire 3L-NPC inverter, this paper proposed a controller design approach for grid-connected harmonic current suppression with PI–repetitive control. Through the research and design in this paper, the grid-connected harmonic current of a three-phase four-wire energy storage inverter can be effectively suppressed.

Recently, different methods have been used for harmonic elimination in solar energy systems. Resilient Direct Unbalanced Control (RDUC) method is one of them. It is used to reduce harmonics in the integration of solar energy systems, especially in distributed generation systems (DGs).
The goal of the model is to keep the harmonic distortions within the limits of all nodes in the distribution network with the lowest possible mitigation cost. The constraint conditions include the fundamental frequency and harmonic power flow, voltage, mitigation performance, power for the PV and ESS inverters, and cost constraints.
