For example, a 12V Tubular lead Acid battery might have an LVC of 10.8V. This means the LVC will disconnect the battery from the Load when the voltage drops to 10.8V. For the lithium battery, this cutoff is at higher voltages as the Lithium battery LifePo4 has a voltage of 12.8 Volts, so the cutoff voltage for a Low battery is 11.2 Volts.
The resting voltage of a 12V lead acid battery refers to the voltage measured when the battery is not under load (i.e., not connected to any circuits or devices). After a period of rest, a fully charged battery should have a resting voltage around 12.6 to 12.8 volts.
The safest practice is to avoid discharging a 12V lead acid battery below 50% of its capacity, which corresponds to around 12.0 volts. Discharging below this threshold on a regular basis can dramatically reduce the battery’s usable life.
You will have to play around with the values and proper separation values, but that's not hard to do. The interesting part of the state-of-charge curve on a 12V nominal lead acid battery is between about 10V and 14V or so. What I have done is used a 10V zener diode to shift this voltage range into 0V..4V and fed this straight into the 5V A2D.
