Proper filter selection is required to remove particulate contaminants and gels from solvents, water and the high viscosity slurries used in forming the electrodes. Furthermore, the well-known Kalman filter (KF) is applied to estimate the SoC of a battery system. With accurate prediction of SoC of battery system, its lifetime could be prolonged, and thereby saving us substantial cost. After reaching the cut-off SOC, the battery will not discharge, and the photovoltaic output will also be normal.
To maintain the battery at its ideal working temperature, a battery thermal management system (BTMS) must carry out essential functions like heat dissipation through cooling, heat augmentation in the case of low temperatures, and facilitating appropriate ventilation for exhaust gases.
